Super Mario Bros & The Legend of Zelda in Animal Crossing + First Details on Animal Crossing 2…

Weāve yet to sample the delights of Animal Crossing; a communicative game for the Cube created by Shigeru Miyamoto. Amongst other things the game contains a range of NES classics that can be bought and played in the game; today it appeared that The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. Are hiding on the disc.

Itās been previously unknown that these games featured in Animal Crossing; however a craft hacker with an Action Replay today told us that theyāre on there, but Nintendo have yet to announce how to unlock them. Itās been suggested that Nintendo may announce these as a present for Gamecube owners during the Christmas period.

In other Animal Crossing related news; Miyamoto revealed that he is working on a sequel for the machine; rumoured to be released sometime in 2003 and featuring online support. As always itās worth taking this with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made.

Hopefully European gamers will get the chance to indulge in the delights of Animal Crossing at some point; at present Nintendo of Europe still havenāt made a decision.
