By Chris Leyton on 29/06/2004 Internal restructuring at SEGA brings developer websites offline…July 1st, SEGA fans should mark that day as the date in which the long embattled publisher finally takes the last nail in the coffin, as SEGAâs diverse setup of studios amalgamate into one likely mess.
Along with HitMaker, Amusement Vision has today confirmed that it will be taking down its official website on July 1st, keeping only product pages and special sections online.
Whilst SEGA fans will continue to debate into the dark hours, official information about how the planned merger will specifically affect the running of SEGA has yet to be released from the publisher, sparking outcries from some quarters that seem to imply further high-profile resignations could be on the cards.
Weâll have more information on the future of SEGA soon.
