12 new screens and further information on the Xbox Live! snowboarder...
When Microsoft unveiled Amped 2 to the gaming world two weeks ago, they forgot about releasing any screens (perhaps Photoshop wasnât working? â“ED) along with it, just a logo.
Thankfully the US giant today heard our cries and sent along the first 10 screens, and very nice they look to!!! If you read the games announcement, youâll know by now that the game makes full use of Xbox Live!; Microsoft let slip some specific details to TVG today in regards to how this will work.
Beginning with a traditional âHead-to-Headâ mode; players will also have the ability to choose from eight-player âHORSEâ and 4-on-4 âKing of the Mountainâ modes. Itâs believed that the mountain will act as the games âlobbyâ, so youâll be able to see players racing on the mountain around you.
Microsoft also revealed more details on the intriguing âbutterâ combo system. Essentially this works like the âmanualâ from Tony Hawkâs fame, allowing players to grind on the nose and tail to link moves and streamline the trick interface.
