Robbie Bach promises more on Alan Wake and Halo Wars at GDC amidst rumours of GoW2...
In an interview featured on a new gaming blog, Sith Gamer, it seems as though the veil surrounding Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake will shortly be lifted.
Microsoft's Robbie Bach reveals that the floodgates on both Alan Wake and Ensemble Studios' Halo Wars will be opened at GDC'08, taking place between February 18th-22nd.
Within the interview, Bach also looks at the position of Xbox 360, whilst describing the Wii as having a "very small life cycle" and judging comparisons between Nintendo's format and the Xbox 360 like "comparing the 360 to the PSP". Certainly seems as though Microsoft's top brass are doing their best to distance themselves away from the juggernaut that is the Nintendo Wii.
Certainly with rumours ramping up surrounding a certain Gears of War 2, it appears that Microsoft will have a busy GDC in just a few weeks time. Presumably if Microsoft and Epic Games do want the Gears trilogy to release entirely on the Xbox 360, it wouldn't be too hard to imagine a surprising end of 2008 release to compete with Resistance 2 and Killzone 2.

I really hope that it can live up to his works, as they have defined a bar of sorts to this kind of atmosphere.
