Japanese reports suggest that Advanced Guardian Heroes will be a sequel and not a port of the 1996 Saturn classic…
Having brought us close to tears of joy with the news that Treasure would be bringing the excellent Guardian Heroes to the GameBoy Advance later in the year, this news suddenly became a lot more important as it was today suggested that the game will in fact be a true sequel instead of a Saturn port that we were all expecting.
Japanese reports suggest that Advanced Guardian Heroes will feature entirely new content alongside a cast of new characters and some that are familiar.
Those wanting to sample the finest that a side-scroller can offer should get their import orders in straight away; Advanced Guardian Heroes is scheduled for release in Japan on September 16th, leaving us desperately hoping that someone will pick it up for release in the West.
