Activision announce the release of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and best of all it's completely FREE...
Id and Activision today announced the release of âReturn to Castle Wolfensteinâ, and as previously expected fans can download the package for free.
Originally scheduled for a full release, âWolfenstein: Enemy Territoryâ gives players the chance to battle across multi-level WWII campaigns as one of five different classes. As you progress through the game youâll gain new skills and promotions, which are ranked on the players helmet within the game and include such abilities as higher ammunition capacity and being able to see land mines.
In addition to objective and campaign modes, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory introduces a team-based Last-Man-Standing game mode, where squad-mates cooperate to ensure their team has the last surviving man on the battlefield. Additionally, Splash Damage has created a new terrain foliage system that allows players to hide or take a sniper position in the cover of long grass or snowy mountaintops.
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory does NOT need the original game to work and can be downloaded from www.castlewolfenstein.com.
