FROM Software acquire the worldwide rights to the Tenchu series from Activision…
FROM Software today confirmed that it has secured the worldwide trademark and publishing rights of the Tenchu series from Activision.
According to the details outlined in the agreement FROM Software will now handle all the development and sales of the Tenchu series in the future; whilst they will expand its presence in foreign territories to handle the publishing of future Tenchu titles outside of Japan.
The reason behind the decision seems to stem from the fact that FROM Software wishes to develop the Tenchu series into other forms of entertainment aside from just videogames â“ a Tenchu: The Movie announcement soon then.
