The world of Steambot Chronicles presents the player with a uniquely open-ended role-playing experience. Players begin their adventure by filling the cel-shaded shoes of young adventurer Vanilla Beans, who awakes on a beach with no memory of where he is or how he got there. Vanilla is befriended by Connie, a singer who had lost her band mates, and the pair soon set off together on an unforgettable quest.

505 To Launch Steambot In September News

Following confirmation that Rule of Rose will be heading our way, the niche publisher confirms Steambot's release...

505 GameStreet has confirmed that Steambot Chronicles, the latest RPG from Japanese developer IREM, will be released in the UK during September. The news comes just days after the publisher announced that it had picked up Sony Computer Entertainment Japan's Rule of Rose.

The game follows the story of the originally named Vanilla Beans, an adventurer who awakes on a beach with amnesia. After meeting up with a singer called Connie, the pair set off to explore the non-linear world where players can decide what character to become such as a warrior, a bandit, or even a chef.

Steambot Chronicles is set for release on PlayStation2 in September; we'll have more shortly...

Hey i have played steambot chronicles and i think it is one of the best roleplaying RPG game ever because not only do you fight but you can be in a band, be a criminal, be a hero, or be an arena fighter.
