Distribution list hints at Blinx sequel, a possible Gran Turismo rival and a title we know absolutely nothing about…
A leaked distributor list has today revealed three new Xbox titles, currently under development for Microsoft Game Studios.
First is the confirmation that a sequel to the hit-and-miss Blinx: The Timesweeper is in development, as TVG had predicted back in 2002. Itās claimed that this game will make a fully playable debut at the forthcoming E3 event, and should hopefully improve upon the great concept yet ultimately flawed original.
Sadly only the names have been revealed on the two additional titles, believed to be entitled Avaris and Forza. Whilst itās only speculation, weāve heard suggestions of GTA and Gran Turismo inspired titles being developed under the MGS label; it doesnāt take a degree in Italian to realise that Forza could possibly be the Gran Turismo rival, however weāll have to wait for further details before confirming this.
As you can see form this distribution list from TopTronic ā“ a leading videogame distributor ā“ all titles are scheduled for release before the end of the year. Naturally this shouldnāt be taken as official confirmation just of yet, given that a few ācannedā titles still appear to be there such as Psychonaughts, however weāre willing to bet weāll see official confirmation soon.
