The developer's CEO acknowledges that they "screwed up" the development of the Duke's decade long return...
The king of vapourware is without a doubt, 3D Realms' Duke Nukem Forever; in development for a decade
But in an interview with YouGamer, 3D Realms' CEO Scott Miller confirmed that the developer had "screwed up" the title, though he also made great pains to reveal that the game was now back on track:
"...we fully admit we're screwed up the development of DNF, and it's now an industry joke. I laugh (and cry) when I think about it, too. Our fault is that we set the bar too high, and we tried too hard to make the game to beat all games. In the last 18 months we've taken a much more realistic look at the project, we've hired a truckload of experienced help, and I personally believe we are now on the right track...finally."
Despite Miller's reassurances, don't expect the Duke's release date to change beyond the infamous "When it's done"...at least, for a little while yet.

Not sure about the bricks one-liner, still think the bubblegum one sounds better.
