Wii Sports finds a rival on the tennis court with the arrival of 2K' Top spin series...
2K Sports today confirmed the somewhat inevitable Top Spin Wii debut. Currently in development at 2K's PAM Development and 2K Shanghai, Top Spin Tennis promises fun, flawless tennis action and the most real life tennis experience to date on Wii.
Providing a real-world experience is crucial to the game. Using the Nunchuk to move the player and aim, and the Wii Remote to hit the ball, Top Spin Tennis should provide more realism and depth than its Wii Sports rival with a range of shots and full control over their power and quality.
With the standard range of single, double, mixed, exhibition, tournament and party modes, Top Spin Tennis allows up to four players to compete - providing you've got the space.
"We are excited to bring our popular Top Spin series to the Wii," said Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K. "Given the Wii's unique controllers and the fun family-oriented gameplay, Top Spin Tennis effectively bridges the gap between a sports and a party game."
