2K`s snowboarding Xbox 360 title ambiguously pencilled in as a launch day title...
Confirmation of a release date is something thatâs normally black and white; either it will be released on a certain day, or it wonât. Somewhat cryptically, 2K Sports a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, has today announced that snowboarding title Amped 3 will be a âcandidateâ launch day title for Xbox 360.
The game, which is three times larger than the previous Amped titles and features a range of options that provide the gamer with whatâs been described as the most authentic snowboarding experience.
"With Amped 3, 2K Sports has tapped into the power of Xbox 360 to create the most authentic, customized, and unique snowboarding experience for gamers," said Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio. "Amped 3 captures the sport of snowboarding and reflects the style and attitude associated with the snowboarder culture."
Exactly what a âCandidateâ title is remains anybodyâs guess, but it seems that Microsoft arenât ready to formally allow publishers to confirm launch day titles for the Xbox 360 just yetâ¦
