For five long years, Mafia fans have been waiting to discover whether a sequel was on the cards, or whether this was, a series left sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Today that fate becomes a little clearer with confirmation that 2K Games and Illusion Softworks are collaborating on a sequel for next-generation consoles and Games for Windows.
Promising a cinematic Hollywood movie experience, with strong, believable characters in a living, breathing city, Mafia 2 takes players to the late 1950's with a blend of "...high octane gunplay with white knuckle driving and an engaging storyline."
