24: The Game set to be published in North America by Take-Two's 2K Games

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and 2K Games have announced that a deal has been struck to take SCEE Cambridge Studioâs videogame adaptation of the TV show 24 to North America. Following events between the second and third series of the hit show, 24: The Game is set to bring all of the key aspects of the programme to the PlayStation2 with over 100 missions to complete including interrogation sequences and analysis sequences.

24 cast regulars including Kiefer Sutherland and Carlos Bernard have lent their likenesses and voices to the game, which is set for release in Autumn 2005 in both North America and Europe, with the showâs trademark split-screen visuals also featured.

Announcing the deal with SCEE, Christoph Hartmann, Managing Director for 2K Games said "24 is one of the hottest shows on television right now, getting the best ratings of its four-year run, and is the perfect property to translate into an interactive entertainment experienceâ¦24: The Game not only creates an intense gaming experience with the same time-based tension the show is well known for, but also answers questions fans have had about the events that transpired between seasons two and three."

We were able to have a first look of the title last week at E3 - weâll have more on 24: The Game shortly...
