Capcom announces five Resident Evil games for release this year.
At its Gamers Day event in Las Vegas, Nevada, Capcom confirmed that five Resident Evil games will be released worldwide on the GameCube this year.
The onslaught begins with the reworked Resident Evil, released in Japan on March 22nd, that will be quickly followed by the unchanged port of Resident Evil 2 and the all-new Resident Evil 0. Ports of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and Resident Evil: Code Veronica will round off the year, leading up to the all new Resident Evil 4 - which it knows nothing about.
``If you want to play a Resident Evil game, you will have to do it on the GameCube,`` a Capcom spokesperson said.
