How to get the console

You can bring down the console in Soldier of Fortune II by pressing and holding the SHIFT key and then pressing the ~ (tilde) key. Do the same to put the console back up.

Bring down the console and type "sv_cheats 1" (minus the quotes) and press ENTER. You can also type
map to load a specific map and have the cheats enabled once the map loads. sv_cheats 1 is write protected in the regular single player game. You need to load a map first using the map or devmap command. So you would type map pra1 or devmap pra1 at the console and hit enter. When the map loads, use sv_cheats 1 and hit enter to enable the cheats.

All levels Selecter

Bring down the console and type this command: raven 1
Then all levels will be selectable from the menu....enjoy !

Various Cheats

Before loading the level, at the main menu, press ~, and type "sv_cheats 1"

Then type the following in game:

notarget - no enemy fire
god - god mode
give all - gives everything
noclip - walk trough walls

Multiple Cheats

Adding Bots To Multiplayer Servers

Simply download a 'Mod' which allows you to add bots from the internet, and extract the files into your Soldier Of Fortune Folder (in your Program Files).

Alternate Radio Calls In Multiplayer

If you are sick of only being able to say: 'Affirmative', 'Incoming', etc, you can go to the Options Menu and go to 'Chat'. From there, go to: 'Configure Radio'.

You can select from a variety of new calls, such as: 'Don't Let Anyone Through Here', 'Multiple Targets' and there are many more.

Rocket Launchers In Multiplayer

In order to get Rocket Launchers in Multiplayer, you should download a weapon altering Mod file from the internet. The Full Metal Rocket Mod is one that allows Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers....... Sadly, with Full Metal Rocket, you can't use any other weapons (besides explosives).

Cheats In Multiplayer

If you want to use cheats in Multiplayer Mode, you will first need a Mod like Mandown or Goldrush. Then type in the following code (which usually is used to make Botroutes):

devmap + set bot_wp_edit 1

The section of that code relates to the map that you want to use the cheats in. For example, the code for The Storming Of Colombia in this case would be:

devmap mp_col2 + set bot_wp_edit 1

After doing that, when you are brought back to your map, you will notice that cheats are now enabled on the server. You can then type in all of your favourite cheats.

You can use God Mode, Give Ammo, etc. Just remember that you must re-enter the cheats (Like God Mode's) at the beginning of every new round!

I don't think you will find this cheat anywhere else!

What Is A Bot?

Many people ask this question, and many times they go unanswered.

A Bot is a Computer Character. Similar to those in many other games that are known as CPU characters. Bots can only be used in Mods for the Multiplayer Mode. They cannot be used in the normal Multiplay Mode.

Adding Characters To Multiplayer

You can download Skin Packages from various websites on the Internet. Skin Packages are files that you download, containing the character skins that you want.

These Skin Packages will be in WinRAR/ WinZIP archives. Simply extract the files and individually place the files (from the new folder) into your "mp" folder in your "Soldier Of Fortune II" folder.

The character skins that you downloaded will now appear on the Character Selection Screen, so you can now use those characters in Multiplayer Mode. A

Three Teams In Multiplayer

There are certain Mods online which allow for a Third Team to participate in Multiplayer Mode. If you are interested, either download GT3 Mod or my own (Player_Elite_0.2). After doing so, you will be able to use new Game-Types which allow for a Third Team (Yellow Team in GT3, Purple Team in Player_Elite_0.2.

New Character Skins

Many people have downloaded Character Skins from the internet which have not come with specific instructions. So, I can help you out a little bit.

Extract the files from the archive that the skin came in. Now, right-click on the 'PK.3' file that appears and use 'Cut'. Now go to your Soldier Of Fortune Folder and go to 'Base'. Once done, you should see a folder titled: 'mp'. Go to the mp folder and 'Paste' the skin there.

The character that you downloaded should now be available for selection.

Making Maps

Like in many other games, you are able to create maps. Simply download a Map-Making program (such as GTK Radiant) and a decent tutorial for making mpas, and you should be able to improve from there.
