Battle Lou in Easy Mode

To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou's will be in easy mode.

Hyperspeed

From the main menu go to options, cheats and then enter cheat. Once there hit these notes in the following order: orange blue orange yellow orange blue orange yellow. Make sure to strum to each note. If done correctly you should here a sound comfirming the cheat.

Unlock Easy Expert

Press GR, GY, YB, RB, BO, YO, RY, RB (the timing window becomes larger for hitting notes, this code doesn't work in Single career mode).

Unlock Everything

To enter the notes go to 'Options' and select 'Cheat' and enter the code you want to enable. You have to strum as you press the buttons in the code or if two buttons are indicated they must be pressed together as you strum as they represent one cord. The letters in the code below correspond to the coloured frets.

R = Red, B = Blue, G = Green, Y = Yellow, O = Orange

Press GR_BO, GRYB_, GRY_O, G_BYO, GRYB_, _RYBO, GRYB_, G_YBO, GRYB_, GRY_O, GRY_O, GRYB_, GRY_O (because this code uses 4-note chords there will be no sound).

Features and Songs

At this present moment of time there have been no cheat codes released for Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. What we do know about the PS2 version of the game is that there are over 70 tracks with half of them being the original masters. New features have been introduced like the new multi-player 'Battle' mode and there is unlockable content like authentic Rock venues. You can also buy deluxe wireless peripherals like guitar controllers for the game.
