Could this be Zelda for PS2? Let's hope so!

PS2 is not impressing me. Not one pint of interest in the system. However, Sony is trying to bring anti-PS2 junkies like myself to the system with the arrival of a RPG/strategy game, Dark Cloud. This could be the first reason (maybe ONLY reason) I am going to buy a PS2. Why? Why is this game pulling me to this system that strives over gameplay for gorgeous, luscious graphics? Simply put, because this could be the first game that relies on the glorious gameplay similar to the Next-Gen Zelda games, right down to the the lock targeting. And with the power of the PS2, and the wonderful special effects this game represents, it is hard for Sony to mess this up.
The one aspect this game has over anything I have ever seen is the fact that you can create your own town such as bridges over clear refreshing rivers, or use tools you gain in the game for fixing certain places. And then, to be able to run around in this town you've created will be a feat that only the PS2 can handle (until Gamecube, anyway).

Comments
As soon as this game hits the shelves I am buying the system that I always just wanted for the DVD. I will have a better reason now, considering the low-budget DVD was just a consumer trap, making customers think they was getting a great Sony DVD and then ending up the finding out the $500 wasn't worth it. This game, though, I'm hoping will be worth it. If not, consider me another customer trapped by Sony.
