The mysterious chapter of Space Marines makes their debut in THQ and Relic Entertainment's Dawn of War series...
TVG has teamed up with THQ and Relic Entertainment to bring a sneak peek of the new units set to feature in the forthcoming Dawn of War: Dark Crusade expansion pack. This week takes a look at the mysterious chapter of Space Marines known as the Gray Knights, the only to have a full knowledge of the dark secrets of Chaos.
Grey Knights
The Grey Knights are a mysterious chapter of Space Marines that specialize in hunting and killing Daemons. All Grey Knights are gifted with powerful psyker abilities, and these powers give them devastating special abilities.Grey Knights are the greatest of Space Marines, and are rumored to have been created from the very genes of the Emperor himself. Few commanders ever have the honor of working with them in battle.
Because Grey Knights are so rare, players will only be able to make a single squad of Grey Knights.
Combat
Grey Knights are much tougher than your average Space Marine. They are proficient at ranged combat, but prefer to use their force halberds in close melee combat. Their melee attacks are particularly devastating to Daemons.
Grey Knights also tip the scales of large battles with their deadly psyker abilities.
Special Abilities
Psychic Inquisition: This ability tortures units with psychic energy in a large area of effect. This energy haunts an area, dancing around seeking victims.
Furious Charge: Allows Grey Knights to approach enemies at blinding speed. The momentum of the charge is converted into a devastating attack.
