Thief Gold, bringing refinement to a good game.
Thief Gold is basically a really nicely fine tuned Thief: The Dark Project. Looking Glass has added 3 all new missions to the original 12. LG didn't just slap on 3 more levels to the end, they used precision to add 3 more somewhere inside the original 12 in order to add more depth, and clarify even more details about the characters and the plot of the game.
Looking Glass has also taken the feedback from players of the original Thief game, and fine tuned Thief Gold to give better gameplay in all the missions.
Of course you can't just add new levels and fine tune a game and call it gold. There needs to be more. So far your enjoyment there has also been an added opponent: The Mages.
More compatibility has been added to the game, giving support now for EAX and joystick.
In addition to the added game features, there is an extra goody stuffed in Thief Gold. Also included is the original documentary of:
-The Making of Thief II: The Metal Age
-Behind The Scenes at Looking Glass Studios
