Resident Evil meets House of the dead.
Being a massive Resident Evil fan I was happy to hear that Capcom had been working on a new gun game using the Resident Evil environments and style.
Instead of the old fashioned style gameplay we have already seen so many times, Resident Evil Gun Survivor puts you right in the action with flesh eating zombies, killer birds, hideous deformed creatures from the creation of Umbrella and best of all the Nemesis, oh did I forget to mention you also need to kill the SWAT teams which have been sent in to destroy you.
Normal Gun games like Time Crisis, or Virtua Cop give you no control on the direction you wish to take apart from the odd change where you shoot a sign etc. RE Gun Survivor allows you to move freely using the gun and when you see something moving you then just start shooting, simple yeah!
Fans of the Resident Evil Series will be happy, the locations are similar and the plot will unfold in the typical Res Evil fashion for example cheesy vocals. None of the original characters are in (not from what we have seen so far anyway).
Resident Evil Gun Survivor is an all out action game there are few puzzles, which should keep Die Hard gamers gripped until you complete this one.
