With the number of PlayStation2 launch titles vastly declining this will be a major key in the number one slot.
Boy have I been waiting for a game of this class to come out, and thanks to the reality that is the PlayStation2 I can sit and admire such spectacular visuals and battles which will simply make me weep.
Kessen was probably one of the first games to show of the potential developers had with the PlaysStation 2 last August, however even now it still continues to impress visually.
Set in 16th Century Japan, players get to control armies of up to 200 infantry and cavalry in pure fantastic real-time battles. Each battle is fitted in with past events in ancient Japan; your mission is to manage your side through war and peace.
Already there is a vast amount of different characters on screen, from ninjas to horse men, you simply will not run out of different tactics to conquer a blood thirsty battle. On the topic of blood it seams from initial conception that Kessen will be âBlood Freeâ however changes may be made before production.
With the number of PlayStation2 launch titles vastly declining this will be a major key in the number one slot. It is bound to sell superbly in its home country and certainly abroad too.
