Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Review

Anime inspired beat-em-up FROM the Streetfighter creators.
And Finally It\'s done, Capcom last shot is very impressive! Brought directly from Hirohiko Araki\'s pencil, here is one of the most innovative beat \'em up ever! The manga was made in the far 1987, but it continued till 1999 in Japan, growing issue to issue till reach the 5th adventure, held by Giorno Giovanna. But the game Take in action the whole 3rd episode, when Jotaro Kujo discovers a Stand within his body. But, what could a Stand be? it is nothing else but a flow of energy which materialize in the real world and can intaract with all around it. A stand is very powerful, but nobody who hasn\'t one can see it, so nearly nobody knows about them. The differences between each stand is in the range of attack (Long or short) and the power they can use. For example, one can materialize even at 1 or two Kilometers but has weak power, instead the other can be used only in few meters from the owner, but it is very powerful! So there go the players: Jotaro Kujo (Star platinum Stand), Joseph Joestar (Emerald Purple Stand), Iggy the dog (The Fool) are only few players who travel aroud the world lookin\' for their enemy, Dio Brando (The World Stand).
The game is basically a One VS One in classic Capcom style, in which you could choose between the 2 version of the game release in Japan. But it has lack of options, allowing you to chose only between arcade or survival mode (sigh! we don\'t have the super story mode of the PSX ver.!!!). Also the commands are very simple, only 3 buttons ar for attaks, and the fourth is to release the stand: yes, the innovative feature of this game consists in the possibility to command the player and the stand at the same time, and with these few buttons you can simply achieve a dramatic 30 hit combo!!!
The graphics is also above the medium level, but I\'ve noticed a certain low resolution that hurts a hard player like me: I think the best 2D games are still on Saturn, they\'re much clever than the Dreamcast games. A part of this, all the animations of the coin-op are manteined, so you can bet JoJo is amazing concerning the graphics.
The sound is a bit rubbish, it seem there\'s lack of instruments, but it works well
At last, I thik only the fans of the manga will completely appreciate this game, but the other should consider all the things I\'ve just said...
