Square have designed Gekikukan Professional Baseball (im not writing that name again so when I say GPB youâll understand what I mean), accesible to players of all standards from begginers to expecrts. The first thing you see when you boot the game up is a heap of selection screen. Exhibition matches, Pennant Race (???) League, the Nihon Series and loads of other options. After youâve got past that screen you will then have the hard tasks of selecting a team, finally after enough button bashes your team walks out onto the pitch and I can promise, youâre mouth will drop awe.
The first thing you will notice that stands out the most is the animation on the characters, apparently Square have put over 3,500 frames into each one. The graphics on the palyers is truelly amazing and very crisp however.

After playing for a few rounds you will then focus on the crowd which is basically a blur of reds and blues with so flags, it really is pants something you do NOT expect in a PlayStation 2 game. The dissapoinments only continues as you have little control that you need in a game like this.
When this title reaches countires such as America & Europe, expect a massive change for teams and style, most of the bugs and clitches I presume will be ironed out and the overall game will play much more realistic.
This title will do bloody well because it is simply Baseball and people in Japan canât get enough of the sport. Although there is quite a few glitches, it is still
