Based on the famous Tarintino vampire movie, but will the game prove to be as popular as the film?

Well this title has me a little worried when I first played it, the graphics were very dark, so dark in fact that you couldnât see a thing. After playing with the graphics settings I found that it was more of a blunder on my part than the actual game itself.

What about the game its self? Well the game is up there with the best of them but has a lot of competition with the release of a few major titles on the horizon. The in game graphics are good had some very nice fogging and lighting effects, the main problem I had with the graphics however were the blood effects. In saying this they werenât anywhere near as bad as some that I have seen in other titles.

So how does the game play, I was very surprised with the movement of the game, however the animations are a little bit sloppy in some areas such as jumping but this cant be helped it looked fine in first person, but as with most games and third person views the jumps all looked very odd, this is not to say that they were bad just that they were not what you would expect. The running and shooting effects were great and really helped to pull the game together.

There is a good selection of weapons to suit most players including the shotgun, machine gun, cross bow and a hand held electrical stunner. The choice in weapons made a great difference throughout the game, as some weapons were much better suited to your situation than others.

After getting right into the game I found myself becoming so involved that I would always come back for more, after all you can't ever kill enough evil vampires can youâ¦

Although I was only playing preview code I was extremely surprised with the level of development that the game was at. Most of the games features seem to be in place and there were hardly and glitches throughout the game, this made for some great gameplay. I would not been surprised if I was told that the game was getting released tomorrow.

In all honesty the game is going to be a massive hit with a large number of PC game players out there, but this game is going to have to get some kind of age certificate as there is blood all over the place, in saying this there is a parental lock option in the game but lets face it how many parents actually play the games before they let their children run wild on them.

The game took me a fair while to get through on the medium difficulty, and was very enjoyable while it lasted.

All in all this game is going to be a hit with action freaks alike but will it compete with other top notch action games such as Max Payne well form what I have seen so far some gamers are going to love this one more than they will other major titles due out this year.
