Eternal Ring is unfortunately quite dull and rather bland.
Sparse action, dull textures and stupid enemies is all here for you in this firstperson action game, from From Software.
Eternal Ring was shown at last years Tokyo Game Show and from what we have seen it hasn't evolved much at all. The enviroments you fight in are very dull and uninspiring, the enemies are stupid to say the least and attack in the most predictable fasion, without the high resolution this game looks more like a PlayStation game than a PlayStaion 2.
After playing Eternal Ring for less than 20 minutes we simply didn't enjoy the experience at all, we thought it would pick up when we reached a boss character later in the demo. Instead the rather boring looking enemy crossed your path and started to swing its long arms in the players direction trying to kill you. However the movement was so dull and sluggish that many watchers simply picked up their bags and left, TVG included.
Ok maybe From Software wanted to get a release title, but to put it in simple words Eternal Ring is crap.
