Who da man, Duke da man!!!
Taking place in and around Las Vegas, Duke Nukem Forever is the latest game in the incredibly popular Duke Nukem series and will feature Duke's infamous off-the-wall wisecracks. Using Epic Game's Unreal engine, Duke Nukem Forever strongly push the limits of gaming and gameplay for the first-person action genre, establishing new standards in interactivity, variety and pure fun. In keeping with the cinematic aspirations of 3D Realms, the game will be one of the first to support wide screen and Dolby Digital surround sound.
Duke Nukem certainly has received a mixed opinion from gamers around the world. Unfortunately the franchise has been plastered just about everywhere and anywhere. Duke Nukem 3D was amazing and changed the way we played First Person Shooters, however when we started to see the Duke Nukem franchise on the original PlayStation as a third-person platformer our great opinions of Duke drastically decreased. Let's face it those games were utterly crap and a waste of money.
3D Realms are about to release the true sequel to Duke Nukem 3D on PC and Nintendo's Gamecube. We managed to get a quick glimpse of the game at E3 this year, however it was not in playable format. It did look very impressive using Epic Game's Unreal engine with a drastic upgrade. Unfortunately the developers 3D Realms have no idea when the game will be complete, and from the video we saw there is still quite a bit of work to be done.
For those of you anticipating this game check out what 3D Realms have to say regarding the release:
No, you cannot pre-order the game. If you see some online store saying, "We are taking pre-orders", they're just trying to get your money (they usually also make up their own supposed "insider release date info", too). There is no release date set; we are not taking pre-orders for the game. End of story.
Once we begin taking pre-orders, believe us, you'll know about it. :)
The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall that claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.
Comments
The next few months will certainly be very interesting. We should shortly receive some type of preview code of the game. So be sure to check back for more up-dates and a play test.

Not sure about the bricks one-liner, still think the bubblegum one sounds better.
