Combat Missions Anthology Mini Review

Being a great fan of CDV over the last few years this collection of strategy war games is a double edge sword to it. Avid games may well have bought the games individually, so this could well be suited to new gamers, although even if you have got one of the three combat missions, namely Combat Mission 3: Afrika Korps â“ the biggest seller, and not the other two, Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord and Combat Mission 2: Barbarossa to Berlin, for the price it could well be worth spending out on.
The whole gambit of interesting locations from Normandy to an entire Russian campaign offers the strat player a real mind throbbing treat as you can play and assume a number of sides.
All told there are 150 plus missions to move through and immerse yourself in and understanding the intricacies and tactical movements to win through this learning and intuitive experience in the real time turn based war theatre!
Plausibility was one of the key words for CDV titles and although some of the games had a set pattern to play, it was CDV who helped form this genre of game.
Excellent value for money!
