SEGA and Sony announce the release of Yakuza 3 in Europe as a PS3 exclusive in March 2010...
SEGA and Sony have announced that Yakuza 3 will be released in the West following months of pleading from fans of the series in Europe and North America. The title will arrive in both territories during March of next year as a PlayStation 3 exclusive (as it was in Japan).
This news comes from the US and EU PlayStation blogs, which reveal that the title will retain the voice-overs from the original Japanese cast, while SEGA's localisation team has added English subtitles for the game's Western release.
"Yakuza 3 was one of the most requested titles for localisation by our European SEGA community, so we are delighted to be able to fulfil their wishes with this announcement," said Gary Knight, SEGA Europe's Marketing Director. "As well as delving even further into the rich narrative of the Yakuza universe, the development team have pushed the PlayStation 3 hardware to the limits to produce a beautiful and startlingly realistic depiction of the Japanese underworld."
Update: News has emerged from Japan of a precise release date for Yakuza 4 in the territory (March 18th, 2010). Here we go again...

Where's Shenmue 3 Sega?! Yakuza series is a decent but Shenmue was/is still better overall hands down. Let's finish the Shenmue series before say Yakuza 10.
