9.4 inch tablet is said to come preloaded with PS One games...

Sony is rumoured to be making a 9.4 inch ‘Playstation Tablet’. The device, codenamed S1, is said to run Android 3.0 and come preloaded with PS One Games.

According to Engadget, the tablet will be Playstation Certified - just like the Xperia Play - making it compatible with Sony’s Playstation Suite download service. The tablet features a unique “wrap” design - said to mimic “an open paperback stuffed into the back pocket” - which shifts its centre of gravity closer to the wrist, with the result that it feels lighter than an iPad despite being the same weight. A Tegra 2 processor and full integration with Sony’s Qriocity content on demand service round out the tablet’s formidable media player capibilities.

The WiFi-only version is said to be planned for a September launch at $599. Sony is yet to comment on the rumour.
