Microsoft confirms a spring release for the Xbox Live Primetime quiz channel...
The New Xbox Experience may be arriving on November 19th, but one major component won't be making an appearance. Revealed as part of the major overhaul, the Xbox Live Primetime quiz channel has now been delayed until the spring, with Microsoft citing a desire to deliver a smooth launch for the NXE.
Offering live scheduled quiz shows over Xbox Live, the first being Endemol's 1 vs. 100, Primetime is set to feature real world prizes (not in game gold) and utilise the NXE's new Avatar system during the shows.
News of the delay comes via US business mag Forbes, which reports that the delay could dampen the success of the channel as it competes with a new season of TV shows across the US. Hopefully the delay will at least allow Primetime to feature more than just a single show come the spring – UK gamers will only recognise the 1 vs 100 brand as part of a National Lottery show, so perhaps one of Endemol's other quizzes will be parachuted in too.

lol if this dumb a.ss move by microsoft actually happens (live annual subscription up to £80 a year) then considder the 360 100% dead, they should lower the cost not up it like they did with the arcade in september (was £130 now £160) and its all to do with the euro exchange only the in the UK we use pounds not sh.it.ty euros.
