Microsoft celebrates a 214% increase in 360 sales since price drop...
It doesn't take a genius to realise that the Xbox 360 price reduction would lead to a spurt in sales, which is precisely what Microsoft are celebrating across the UK.
Following the cut Microsoft and Chart-Track has confirmed that sales of the Xbox 360 leapt by 214% in the last two weeks, outselling the PlayStation3 by more than two-to-one.
Chris Lewis, Vice President, Interactive Entertainment Business EMEA, said: "This data shows that the Xbox 360 trajectory continues upwards, and not just in the UK. We've seen uplift in all countries in Europe and are confident that even at this rate of growth we can keep retail satisfied with a steady supply of consoles throughout the Christmas season.

lol if this dumb a.ss move by microsoft actually happens (live annual subscription up to £80 a year) then considder the 360 100% dead, they should lower the cost not up it like they did with the arcade in september (was £130 now £160) and its all to do with the euro exchange only the in the UK we use pounds not sh.it.ty euros.
