We take a quick look at XIII on Xbox and PlayStation 2, new screens inside.

Ubi Soft have certainly got a strong show at E3 this year, one of their hottest titles on show was XIII for all formats.

We got the chance to sit down with the developers whilst trying our hardest to perform head-shots to various enemy targets.

XIII is a new first person shooter that uses the overly-popular cell-shadding technology. However it works really well and creates a fantastic comic-style appearance.

The action is fast and the gameplay moves along effortless, with the use of cut-scenes slowing the action down. The developers have used pop-up windows to highlight key actions/events in the game. One example saw us walking along a moutain side next to a river, in the top left hand corner a new window appeared showing a boat approaching with a group of enemies. The use of these windows is unique to XIII, the Xbox versions allows for animated scenes within the windows whereas the PlayStation 2 version only has static screens.

We shall be bringing you a full Hands On Preview shortly.
