Storywriter and music company on board to help the latest Activision/Marvel romp...

It seems a Marvel adaptation isn't the same unless you've enlisted the assistance of a wealth of talent to help out with the project, which is certainly the case for Activision's forthcoming X-Men: The Official Game - the only game tied to the upcoming X-Men: The Last Stand.

Co-screenwriter for the film, Zak Penn, and "legendary" comic-book writer, Chris Claremont, have worked closely together to provide an original storyline that serves as a prelude to the events of the film.

In addition X-Men: The Official Game will feature a soundtrack crafted by leading sound company Womb Music, along with Chance Thomas, renowned composer of King Kong, Lord of the Rings and Unreal videogames.

OK so this isn't exactly the type of news that excites us, being about as predictable as the last "All-Star X-Men Announcement" from Activision, so to make amends we at least have a trailer of Lady Deathstrike in action - enjoy and forget you've just read all of this.
