The Storms of Azeroth arrives with updates for Priests, epic armour, and the odd drop of rain...

Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG World of Warcraft is today receiving its latest update Patch 1.10, known as the Storms of Azeroth, which will bring a host of new features to the massively successful title including for the first time, weather effects.

First previewed in two movies (Snow and Rain) at the end of January, the weather effects have been added to 11 regions throughout Azeroth including Elwynn Forest, Dun Morogh, Darkshore, Stranglethorn Vale, and Ahn' Qiraj with more to follow suit in the future.

The developer has also added several new flight paths for those with tired feet, enabling players to now take a ride between Ironforge and Light's Hope Chapel, Stonetalon Peak and Astranaar, Talendris Point and Everlook, Theramore and Talendris Point, and Sepulcher and Tarren Mill. In addition, gamers will now be able to plot a multiple-point flight path with one Flight Master.

In order to appease Level 60 gamers whilst they wait for the release of the WoW expansion pack The Burning Crusade, Blizzard have implemented an 'XP for Gold' patch, enabling those who've reached the current level peak the chance to get even richer. An exact conversion rate between the two is yet to be confirmed.

The Storms of Azeroth will also see the addition of new epic armour sets, which will appear in a number of the game's dungeons, together with slight amendments to player caps in certain instances including Blackrock Depths and Stratholme (reduced to a maximum of five players), and Blackrock Spire (reduced to a maximum of ten players.)

Patch 1.10 has also seen a significant overhaul of the Priest Class, with changes to many of the talent spells and a reduction in price for many talents in general. As a result, gamers with Priest Class characters will have their Talent Points refunded, enabling them to take advantage of the changes made in the patch. Lesser Class changes have also been made to Shaman and Mages.

In addition a number of bugs have been corrected with the introduction of Patch 1.10, together with an update to the User Interface, prompting Blizzard to warn WoW subscribers that their Custom User Interfaces may affect gameplay. The developer is advising that subscribers experiencing problems should delete the Interface folder from their computers before contacting WoW Game Masters.

We're off to jump in the puddles of rain water in Elwynn Forest; we'll have more news shortly...

Anyone using the word "Scrubs" is a total tool. It does not make you sound tough or cool. If you think your entitled to some elite aspect of video games and start referring to people as scrubs like you were some hardass CO then you are mentally disabled in so many ways that I would actually feel bad if I called you retarded.
