Blizzard Entertainment records another record as World of Warcraft hits 10 million subscribers...
Six months after hitting 9 million subscribers, Blizzard Entertainment has today confirmed that the number of subscriptions to World of Warcraft has topped 10 million.
Over half of all players are based in Asia, with 2.5 million subscribers in North America, and a further 2 million from across Europe. Blizzard has also announced that a Russian language version of WoW is currently in development, which will launch later in 2008.
"It's very gratifying to see gamers around the world continuing to show such enthusiasm and support for World of Warcraft," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We're always pleased to welcome new players to the game, and we're looking forward to sharing the next major content update with the entire community in the months ahead."

Anyone using the word "Scrubs" is a total tool. It does not make you sound tough or cool. If you think your entitled to some elite aspect of video games and start referring to people as scrubs like you were some hardass CO then you are mentally disabled in so many ways that I would actually feel bad if I called you retarded.
