Blizzard confirms European localisation in Spanish for World of Warcraft...

World of Warcraft

Blizzard Entertainment has today confirmed that its MMORPG World of Warcraft is to be localised and released in Spanish. Localising the game will be the responsibility of the in-house team at Blizzard Europe, with the service enabling a raft of customer support from within the game, a Spanish community site, and a Spanish language World of Warcraft website.

"We look forward to offering Spanish-speaking players in Europe a version of World of Warcraft tailored specifically for them," said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment(r). "The enthusiasm for the game here has been overwhelming, and we're pleased that this new localised version will make World of Warcraft accessible to an even wider audience."

The news comes as Blizzard confirms that the number of global subscribers has smashed through the six million mark, adding an extra million accounts in the space of just eight weeks.

It seems that the WoW behemoth is continuing to rumble further on, especially with the forthcoming release of patch 1.10 in the coming weeks.

We'll have more on World of Warcraft shortly...

Wow is designed in such a manner that you HAVE to commit immense number of hours into the game in order to actually achieve anythuing. All the items you will get in drops will be 2-5 levels lower. The game is designed in codepency and farming tons of gold. I hate blizzard for turning me into a goldwh0re. With that in mind im gonna go farm 2k gold more for my epic flying mount. :(

It's silly to call one MMO is better than another. They are all designed to target different market shares and niches. Thats like going to a women's shoestore and complaining that their are no boots. It is not the stores fault, it is yours.
