The man with considerably more knowledge of WoW then your average Joe, suggests queues may be a thing of the past...

Gaming Steve has done it again, with claims that World of Warcraft's Battlegrounds is due for significant improvement in a future update.

In news that is likely to set off a cacophony of cheers across the globe from everyone who has sat in a PvP queue for hours upon end, Gaming Steve alleges that the future update will cure WoW's biggest issue and bring more variety to the PvP experience.

Suggesting that Battlegrounds will no longer be tied to single realms, but cross-linked across up to 16 realms, such cross-realm activity should ensure the end of playing against the same opponents time and time again, whilst hopefully eradicating the lengthy queues in the process.

If Gaming Steve has got his facts right (and he usually does) then the update will appear in the not-too distant future, perhaps by Patch 1.12 or 1.13, as a result of months of toiling away and testing currently underway at Blizzard.

As if that wasn't good enough, Gaming Steve moves on to suggest bigger and better things are on the horizon. Describing an enhancement of monumental proportions, The Burning Crusade could bring a complete revamp to the world of WoW's PvP in the shape of worldwide rankings, tournaments, ladders and much more.

Besides the random spam, WoW is a decent game but now WAY too casual. It used to be fun being one of the server first with a 1337 item but now everyone pretty much has everything short of arena gear... not fun anymore.
