Massive Entertainment's eagerly awaited RTS on its way to Microsoft's console...
It seems as though the most anticipated RTS title of the year is on its way to the Xbox 360, with sightings and reports of Vivendi and Massive Entertainment's World in Conflict surfacing on Microsoft's console.
Home to a handful of attempts from EA in the past, World in Conflict' emphasis on fast-paced action and FPS camera certainly suits itself to a console pad more so then the likes of Battle for Middle-Earth and Command & Conquer 3.
Although Vivendi has yet to confirm the version, TVG understands that development on the 360 version is already at an advanced stage and expects the official announcement to occur very shortly.

ok... dude u cant be serious... if a 360 had better graphics and better processing capabilities than the PC why isnt Crysis on the Xbox 360?? Why isnt Warhead? Why is the new CryEngine being scaled or DOWNGRADED so it can be used on consoles? Why do 360's have the RROD error and where did C&C first appear? PC!!!!!

The WIC expansion could well become a PERFECT RTS game, this is great news! I love WIC but wish there were a few more units - I'm a long time (since the dawn of time) RTS gamer and need to be slightly overwhelmed by a game to want to master it. If there were more units (and more units allowed in your personal force), plus AUTO-DOWNLOAD of custom maps, the game wouldn't need much else to really catch on Blizzard style. It's already an amazing base engine, it looks great and plays very smoothly. No time is wasted, the artillery options are extremely innovative. I can't wait for the next level.

Are you serious? The graphics are better on a console?? If you believe that you have been living in the dark your whole life. The nature of the PC, is that it is continuously updated, as opposed to a console, which is updated every 3 years or so. The technology available in PC's right now has already outdated the xbox 360. I have been both a pc and console gamer for years, and one thing holds true; the PC always has better graphics. This is of course giving that you have the right hardware and software on your PC. I am running a dual core PC, with Microsoft vista (which contains DX10 technolgy not available anywhere else, which has brought graphics on the pc to a level beyond the capacity of the xbox) And of course a $400 graphics card to go with it, which supports dx10. The result, stunning graphics and frame rates. I rented world in conflict on the 360... doesnt even come close to the pc experience. alot of highend features are cut, and additionally, the 360 simply lacks the graphics processing abilities of the nvidia 8000 series card i have. WHy? because the card came out after the 360... its simply newer technology.
