PS3/PSP Job Ads Reveal Hint Of Things To Come News
SCEE opens recruitment for a range of job positions in PlayStation3 and PSP development...
By Jon WilcoxPosted: 29/06/2006
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today lifted the lid ever so slightly on some of the first party titles in development for PSP and PlayStation3, thanks to a recruitment drive.
Though titles aren't named specifically, aside from confirmation that a PS3 version of WipeOut and a second instalment of the futuristic racer on PSP are both planned, it doesn't take much to deduce what they are.
Football titles for both the PlayStation3 and PSP are also in the works at SCEE's London Studio so expect World Tour Soccer Next-Gen and World Tour Soccer 3 to be winging their way onto the two platforms at some point in the future. SCEE are also looking for an Art Manager for a "...prestigious and well-established music videogame franchise for PlayStation2, now in development for PlayStation3" - so that would be SingStar then...
Who knows what this PlayStation3 title will end up being, but Sony are also looking for people to work on a prototype for voice recognition and sound analysis...answers on a postcard to...
We'll be keeping a close eye on the development of all these titles in future months, so keep watching...
