Wii Fit 2 On The Way??? News

Dutch release schedule lists a Wii Fit Plus title for release this November and Wii Sports 2 for August...

Wii Fit Plus

A follow-up title to last year's Wii Fit, More Brain Trainingly titled Wii Fit Plus, is scheduled for release this November, while Nintendo also has an August window pencilled in for the Motion Plus controller and Wii Sports 2.

That's what a Dutch retailer's release schedule (posted by GoNintendo) is suggesting and, while the information should be processed with a hefty pinch of salt (perhaps even a fistful), it certainly makes a lot of sense.

We already knew that a Wii Sports sequel (Wii Sports Resort) was in the works and, of course, the Motion Plus controller has been common knowledge for quite some time. The Wii Fit Plus title is completely new to us but, then again, we'd expect Nintendo to get a follow-up release for its phenomenally successful fitness game organised pretty hastily.

Something to remember though: this Dutch release schedule has precise dates of August 10th listed for Wii Sports 2 and the Motion Plus (a Monday), and 19th November for Wii Fit Plus (a Thursday). In that European releases almost always fall on a Friday, the dates listed above are clearly far from entirely accurate.

The Wii doesn't even have a camera??? Surely after forking out for a Balance Board you're not giving Nintendo even more reasons to include stuff and bump up the price?
