NAMCO makes amends for not releasing Katamari Damacy in Europe by confirming a PAL release for the sequel...

The name Katamari Damacy may not mean a great deal to European gamers, however sadly despite its success in both Japan and America, the frankly absurd title that completely eschews buttons and complicated gameplay will never make it over to these shores.

Thankfully however it appears that NAMCO do have plans to release the impending sequel across PAL territories sometime during 2005. Despite specific details being unknown at this stage, itâ??s highly likely that the sequel will continue along the same lines as its critically acclaimed predecessor, challenging players to roll their Katamariâ??s through the various stages and growing in size as they do so, picking up anything from playing cards to football stadiums.

Weâ??ll have more on Katamari Damacy 2 soon.
