THQ reveals the minimum specs for Relic Entertainment's big hitter for 2009; details of Beta access coming soon...
As the Space Marines continue their final preparations for an assault on the Orks in Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II, THQ has revealed the minimum and recommended PC requirements for the Relic Entertainment RTS, due in the coming weeks.
In addition to the specs, THQ has confirmed that details of a Beta period will be revealed on Friday morning, with a special mention for owners of the final DoW1 expansion pack, SoulStorm.

Minimum Requirements –
- Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1
- P4 3.2 GHz (single core) or any Dual Core processor
- 1 GB RAM (XP), 1.5 GB RAM (Vista)
- A 128MB Video Card (Shader Model 3) - Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT / ATI X1600, or equivalent
- 5.5 GB of Hard Drive space
Recommended –
- Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1
- AMD Athlon 64x2 4400+ or any Intel Core 2 Duo
- 2 GB RAM (XP and Vista)
- A 256MB Video Card (Shader Model 3) - Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT / ATI X1900, or equivalent
- 5.5 GB of Hard Drive space

No you cant build buildings. Only cover and powergenerators directly at the powersourcesector. basebuilding is just annoying anyway.

WoW, and I don't mean World of Warcrap; j/k I see why people like WoW, and more power to them. The more games we have that are a blast to play the better. DoW 2 is by far my most anticipated game for 2008 & 2009 combinned.

Relic aren't innovating either: - squads - old - morale system - old (Cossacs 2 or something) - resource system - old (Z) - small scale, macro-less gameplay - old (Ground Control 2, and many others, including RTT titles) I could go on and on...
