'Drum Topple' becomes the first mini-game from Virtua Tennis 3 to be revealed by SEGA...

SEGA Europe has today started a series of reveals for the various mini-games included in upcoming next-generation title, Virtua Tennis 3, beginning with 'Drum Topple'.

A veteran of the Virtua Tennis franchise, Drum Topple sees players given the task of knocking down a wall of oil drums built across the court; as in previous instalments, scoring top points unlocks more powerful strokes that can be used in later matches.

Mini-games have always been a key feature in Virtua Tennis titles in the past, so it's good to see that the tradition is set to continue into the next-generation...let's hope that there're a couple of original ones too though.

Virtua Tennis 3 is set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PSP, and PC in 2007.

We'll have more news shortly...
