SEGA Europe also confirms that the new tennis instalment will also be appearing on PC and PSP...

SEGA Europe has today announced a raft of new features and improvements for the upcoming Virtua Tennis 3.

Besides the refinement of the World Tour Mode, ten new mini-games (and two classics) will make the line-up, together with Court Games - mini games for up to four gamers. Five set matches will also be added to Virtua Tennis 3 for epic games.

A number of world tennis stars will also grace the game including Andy Roddick, Tim Henman, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer from the men's game, and Amelie Mauresmo, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, and Lindsay Davenport from the women's game.

The news comes as the company confirmed that Virtua Tennis 3 will be making an appearance on PSP and PC, as well as the previously announced versions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3. The game is set for release during Spring 2007.

We'll have more news shortly...
