SEGA confirms Virtua Tennis 2009 for Wii; best-selling franchise heads to Nintendo's console in May...
SEGA Europe has confirmed that Virtua Tennis 2009, which has already been announced for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, will also be heading to Wii this May.
The latest iteration in the long-running tennis franchise, Virtua Tennis 2009 on Wii will feature a whole raft of modes, including online multiplayer, famous players such as Rafael Nadal, Rodger Federer, and Andy Murray. The title also includes the Davis Cup license, which will at least give UK gamers the chance to do better than the real Great Britiain Davis Cup team...
“So many features of the Virtua Tennis series are perfect for the Wii platform,” commented Gary Knight, European Marketing Director SEGA Europe. “SEGA are excited to be able to finally bring this to fruition, and the multiplayer Court Games in particular will be great fun to play with the whole family in the comfort of their homes!”

If you actually check out the high res artwork of the packaging, you can quite clearly make out the small print:

I am a big fan of Virtua Tennis 3 and I love to play Tennis, but I was just wondering, why don't any of the Tennis Video Games include Novak Djokovic in their games, he's not my favorite player but he is ranked in the Top three in the Tennis rankings, why doesn't any game include Novak in it. It would be nice to place as Novak Djokovic in the game or beat him in a Tennis Video game.
I would really like to see Novak Djokovic and Andy Rod[#@!?] in Virtua Tennis 2009.
