AM2 head confirms that Virtua Fighter 5 is making use of new technology…
SEGA fans will remember that we brought you <a href=http://www.totalvideogames.com/?section=Read%20News&id=4362&gameid=2805&format=000001>confirmation</a> of ‘Virtua Fighter 5’ back in January; however the new head of AM2, Makoto Osaki, has today confirmed that the title is currently being developed on different arcade technology to that currently available – ruling out the Xbox based Chihiro Board, the TriForce, NAMOI2 and System 246.<br><br>Whether or not ‘Virtua Fighter 5’ is running on new SEGA hardware or the latest technology from Sammy’s Atomiswave range is currently unknown; however we’ll press for further details and hopefully bring you an update soon.

Actually his comment is totally truthful, the ps3 can't run games worth a sugar , at least the ones ive seen anyway. Every game ive played on it has had a completely dodgy framerate and numerous hiccups, now im not trying to bash the people that like their ps3's but i certainely can't stand for crap like that.
