Viewtiful Joe finally makes his appearance on the Playstation2, and quite honestly all that needs to be said is that you need to buy this game.

For a more extensive look at the title we suggest taking a look at our previous coverage of the GameCube release; suffice to say the PS2 adaptation is a perfect port, complete with a number of enhancements.

Most notably is the inclusion of Devil May Cryâ??s Dante as a hidden character that is sure to please the DMC loving PS2 fans, whilst the game has certainly been made more accessible with the inclusion of three difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard) â?“ however truly to gain the most satisfaction you really need to be playing this on hard.

Truly games such as this are a rarity these days; itâ??s a perfect blend of substance and style both in terms of visuals and gameplay, whilst the true testimony of the game is the fact that itâ??s still as refreshing, addictive and challenging as it was when it was released close to a year ago on the GameCube.

Certainly at a retail price of £19.99 this is one game that every PS2 owner should invest in - youâ??ll thank us once you do so.
