Sony reveals that Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 has passed through 3.5 million sales and collected over 150 industry awards...

SCEA's VP of Product Development, Scott Rohde has announced that Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 has notched up an impressive 150 game industry awards on its way to 3.5 million unit sales worldwide.

Rohde described the game as, “the fastest selling first-party title for PlayStation” on the US PlayStation blog, and revealed that there are also 1.5 million registered online users for Uncharted 2. The game has been nominated for 10 BAFTA Game Awards at next month's ceremony in London.

Anyone who's downloaded and played in the multiplayer DEMO, not "beta", knows it works perfectly. I've heard nothing but praise for the single player campaign as well. Excellent reviews all around.

I'd rather they continued to focus on a strong single-player experience, but as long as they create that then I'm not going to turn down co-op.

Despite my initial scepticism over this news, I think multiplayer could work.  I'm more interested in the co-op, but deathmatches could be fun, so long as in doing this the single-player mode does not suffer.

I'll probably be buying inFamous anyway, so I will be interested in checking this out.
