Support for SCEE’s innovative EyeToy peripheral looks set to increase into 2004, as Konami today announced the development of U Move Super Sports; billed as a “fun sports-themed videogame”.

The game encompasses 15 mini-games, as U Move Super Sports literally drops the player into a series of madcap sporting scenarios, such as Perfect Goal where the player lines up to save a penalty against a CPU striker or Rugby Crash wherein players must tackle a rugby player.

Additional games include Hole In One, Ball-Tossing Aliens, Yellow Card and Sling Shot, all of which are designed to stretch players reflexes to their limits. As an aside, U Move Super Sports also boasts a number of sub-stages within the games ‘Art Studio’ mode that introduces a puzzle dynamic in addition to a range of multiplayer modes.
